USNR aviation flight officers, detailed to actve duty in the aeronautic organization of the Navy immediately following their completion of traiing and designation as naval aviators.This classification was abolished in September 1944 and replaced by one of the following: (A1), (A1)-L, (A2), (A2L), S(A1), or S(A2).
