Asset (DVD Authoring)

Individual element imported into a DVD project, typically from an associated file on hard disk. Assets include video and audio clips, still images, subtitles, and menu and button graphics.


Asset (Dairy Production)

A resource the business or an individual owns, the value of which usually can be expressed in terms of money. Anything owned that has an exchange value.


Asset (Debt Consolidation)

Anything that has monetary or exchange value that is owned by an individual, business or institution. Assets include real estate property, personal property, vehicles and enforceable claims against others (including bank accounts, stocks, mutual funds, and so on). A lender is very interested in the amount and value of any assets you may have because assets can be used as collateral against a loan. Along with other factors such a a borrower's credit rating, assets are also used to help determine the amount of the loan.

Asset (Frauds and Scams)

Anything of value owned or is owed to it by a business, institution, or individual. Assets may include cash, investments, accounts receivable, product inventory and other current assets. Patents and goodwill are called intangible assets.

The amount of capital or principal money, stocks, bonds, real estate or other resources controlled by a person, association, corporation or foundation.
