Audit Report (Accounting)

is a signedwritten document which presents the purposescopeand results of the audit. Results of the audit may include findingsconclusions (opinions)and recommendations.

Audit Report (Sanitation)

The report prepared by an auditor covering the audit or investigation made by him or her. As a rule, the report should include: (a) a statement of the scope of the audit; (b) explanatory comments (if any) concerning exceptions by the auditor as to application of generally accepted auditing standards; (c) opinions; (d) explanatory comments (if any) concerning verification procedures; (e) financial statements and schedules; and (f) sometimes statistical tables, supplementary comments and recommendations. The auditor's signature follows item (c) or (d).
