For Beerenauslese we have a term and definition in Wine.

Beerenauslese is a German word (but lets use the English equivalent berry selection). It actually refers to the way grapes are picked one at a time, rather than in a bunch. The reason thats done is because all grapes in a bunch may not have ripened at the same rate. By picking them separately, winemakers can chose only the best ones, resulting, of course, in only the best wine. So beerenauslese is a good word to learn; its pronounced BAY-ruhn-OWS-lay-zuh.
