A rigging device or method which distributes a single point of a load to more than one hanging point.

Bridle (Dream)

To dream of a bridle, denotes you will engage in some enterprise which will afford much worry, but will eventually terminate in pleasure and gain. If it is old or broken you will have difficulties to encounter, and the probabilities are that you will go down before them.
A blind bridle signifies you will be deceived by some wily enemy, or some woman will entangle you in an intrigue.

Bridle (Equestrian Sports)

A harness of leather straps that fits around the horse's head and holds the bit.


Bridle (Kiteboard)

Lines that form the junction between a foil kite and the flying lines. A foil kite may have a complex bridle. An inflatable kite usually has no bridle and the flying lines are connected directly to the kite. Bridle lines are sometimes called shroud lines.
