Charitable Gift Annuity (Charitable Donation)

An annuity set up by a donor that pays out a certain amount to the donor over a lifetime, with the remainder going to charity upon the donor's death. These can be set up to be immediate, meaning the payments start right away, or deferred, whereby the annuity is set up ahead of time but the payments start later (usually when the donor reaches a certain age).


Charitable Gift Annuity (Charitable Donations)

Typically an agreement in which you transfer cash or other assets to a charitable organization in exchange for its promise to pay you an annuity for life or for a term of years.
