Count Wheel (Clocks) 
Wheel used in striking clocks with either a combination of shallow and deep cuts or slots, or, merely deep slots at different spacing used to stop the strike train after striking the appropriate number. Strike halts when a rod, commonly called a feeler rod enters a deep slot.
