Detrended Correspondence Analysis (Dca) (Ordination) 
An eigenanalysis-based ordination technique derived from correspondence analysis (Hill and Gauch 1980) DCA performs detrending to counteract the arch effect, a defect of correspondence analysis. DCA also (optionally) performs rescaling of ordination axes, so that the spacing of sample (and species) scores along the axes are scaled in units of beta diversity.
