E1 (Cellular Networking)

A digital link carry 32 DS0 channels, with two used for signaling purposes. Used mostly outside North America. Compare with T1


E1 (Computer Technology)

European Digital Signal 1. European communication standard for connections up to 2 Mbit/sec (for example a leased line).


E1 (Networking)

This is the European basic multiplex rate which packs 30 voice channels into a 256 bit frame and transmits at 2.048 Mbps.


E1 (Telco)

A common type of digital telephone trunk widely deployed outside the US and Canada. Has 30 available 64Kbps channels (called DSø ’s) plus a B channel and a sync/control channel.
