For Ear Coning we have a term and definition in Holistic Health.

Ear coning, also known as ear candling, is a method of cleansing the body physically and spiritually. Some trace the history back to ancient Egypt and China, as well as the Native American Hopi Indians. This therapy is believed to alleviate migraines, sinusitis, postnasal drip, hearing loss due to built up ear wax, and loss of balance or dizziness related to the inner ear. A hollow, tapered candle has one narrow end that fits into the ear. The other end is lit, and as the flame consumes oxygen, it creates a vacuum that pulls residue out of the ear. This process removes toxins and excess wax. Many people believe it also draws out negative energy and cleanses the mind. There are many practitioners that provide ear coning services. The candles can also be purchased at various holistic stores or over the internet, and the process can be done at home with minimal training.
