Endometrial Cancer

Endometrial Cancer (Female Health)

Cancer of the endometrium. Endometrial cancer is caused by estrogen without sufficient progesterone. Being overweight, having anovulatory androgen excess and diabetes mellitus are risk factors. Estrogen treatment without progesterone therapy as well is a major cause. It is usually preceded by persistent endometrial proliferation and endometrial hyperplasia (both of which are reversible with progesterone therapy).

One of the types of cancer of the uterus, from the lining of the cells of the uterus.


Endometrial Cancer (Women's Health)

Cancer that develops from the endometrium, or the inner lining of the uterus (womb).


Endometrial Cancer (Womens Health)

Cancer that develops from the endometrium, or the inner lining of the uterus (womb).
