Heartburn (Pregnancy)
A burning sensation that occurs in your chest about the level of your heart is heartburn and is what gives this condition its name. Its caused by the contents of your stomach backing up into the esophagus, then the stomach acids irritate the lining of the esophagus. It has nothing to do with the heart at all.
