Hysterosalpingogram (Hsg) (Contraception)

A test that can determine if the fallopian tubes are open and can reveal the shape of the inside of the uterus. This test is done after a micro-insert tubal occlusion method to find out if the tubes are blocked, which would mean that the procedure worked. It is also sometimes done when a women is having difficulty becoming pregnant.


Hysterosalpingogram (Hsg) (Female Health)

A visualization test that uses dye and an x-ray to provide an outline of the interior of the uterus. HSG is typically performed in a radiology suite with no anesthesia.
