Long Course (Lc) (Swimming) 
A 50-meter pool. The Olympic Games swimming competition as well as all major international swimming competitions are conducted in long course. The swim year is divided into two seasons: Short Course season competed in 25-yard/meter pools during fall and winter and Long Course season competed in 50-meter pools during spring and summer.
