Maintenance (Accounting)

is the activity involved in maintaining something in good working order. May include replacement of signifcant portions of the item(s) being maintained.


Maintenance (Auto Lease)

Care for the vehicle required by the lease agreement. Maintenance may include manufacturer-recommended servicing and any repairs needed to keep the vehicle in good operating condition.


Maintenance (Canadian Law)

Refers to the obligation of one person to contribute, in part or in whole, to the cost of living of another person. Maintenance is usually expressed in a currency amount per month as in "$450 a month maintenance." Some countries prefer the words "support" (spousal or child) or "alimony" but they all mean the same thing.

The care and upkeep of the property.

The same as spousal support or alimony.
