For Molecule we have terms and definitions in 22 topics. The topics are Anthromorphemics, Anthropology, Atkins Diet, Cancer, Chemistry, Climatology, Energy, Environment, Explosives, Gene Testing, Genetics and Genealogy, HIV and AIDs, Hepatitis C, Huntingtons Disease, Medical, Microbiology, Nutrition, Oceanography, Physical Geography, Pompe Disease, Robotics and Science.

Molecule (Anthromorphemics)

A unit composed of two or more atoms linked by a chemical bond.

Molecule (Anthropology)

A unit composed of two or more atoms linked by a chemical bond.

Molecule (Atkins Diet)

A molecule is the smallest physical unit of an element or a compound.

Molecule (Cancer)

A molecule is the name given to two or more atoms joined together. For example, joining two atoms of hydrogen to an oxygen atom makes a 'molecule' of water. However, molecules can be much bigger that. For example, the DNA in a single human chromosome consists of many billions of atoms joined together.

Molecule (Chemistry)

A group of atoms linked together by covalent bonds.

Molecule (Climatology)

The smallest particle of a substance that retains the properties of the substance and is composed of one or more atoms

Molecule (Energy)

Particles that normally consist of two or more atoms joined together. An example is a water molecule that is made up of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.

Molecule (Environment)

The smallest division of a compound that still retains or exhibits all the properties of the substance.

Molecule (Explosives)

A molecule is the smallest particle of a Compound that has all the chemical properties of that compound. Molecules are made up of two or more Atoms, either of the same Element or of two or more different elements. Ionic compounds, such as common salt, are made up not of molecules but of ions arranged in a crystalline structure ( Crystal). Unlike Ions, molecules carry no electrical charge. Molecules differ in size and Molecular Weight as well as in structure ( Isomer).

Molecule (Gene Testing)

A group of atoms arranged to interact in a particular way; one molecule of any substance is the smallest physical unit of that particular substance.

Molecule (Genetics and Genealogy)

The smallest particle of a substance that retains the properties of the substance and is composed of one or more atoms.

Molecule (HIV and AIDs)

The smallest particle of a compound that has all the chemical properties of that compound. Molecules are made up of two or more atoms, either of the same element or of two or more different elements. Ionic compounds, such as common salt, are made up not of molecules, but of ions arranged in a crystalline structure. Unlike ions, molecules carry no electrical charge. Molecules differ in size and molecular weight as well as in structure.

Molecule (Hepatitis C)

The smallest fundamental unit of a substance which can exist in a free state and still retain the chemical properties of the substance. A molecule consists of a combination of atoms.

Molecule (Huntingtons Disease)

The smallest unit of matter of a substance that retains all the physical and chemical properties of that substance, consisting of a single atom or a group of atoms bonded together. Example: A single water molecule (H2O) consists of just one single oxygen atom bonded to just two hydrogen atoms. There are thousands of water molecules in a single droplet of water. Molecules are too small to be seen without the assistance of powerful microscopes.

Molecule (Medical)

The smallest unit of a substance that possesses its characteristics

Molecule (Microbiology)

The result of two or more atoms combining by chemical bonding.

Molecule (Nutrition)

Two or more atoms held together by means of a pair of electrons shared between them.

Molecule (Oceanography)

The smallest particle of a compound that demonstrates all the properties of that compound.

Molecule (Physical Geography)

Minute particle that consists of connected atoms of one or many elements.

Molecule (Pompe Disease)

The smallest particle of a substance that retains all the properties of the substance and is composed of one or more atoms.

Molecule (Robotics)

Two or more atoms combine to form molecules. Molecules can be very different than the atoms that make them. For example, water is a molecule made of Hydrogen and Oxygen atoms.
