Nucleic Acid (Anthromorphemics)

The largest of the molecules found in living organisms; composed of chains of nucleotides.

Nucleic Acid (Anthropology)

The largest of the molecules found in living organisms; composed of chains of nucleotides.

Nucleic Acid (Dairy Production)

Any of the two groups of complex compounds (deoxyribo-nucleic acid-DNA or ribonucleic acid-RNA) composed of bonded units called nucleotides.

Nucleic Acid (Dna)

A large molecule composed of repeating nucleotides

Nucleic Acid (Genetics and Food)

a substance present in living cells (especially DNA and RNA).

Nucleic Acid (Genetics and Genealogy)

A large molecule composed of nucleotide sub-units.

Nucleic Acid (Genome)

A large molecule composed of nucleotide subunits.

Nucleic Acid (HIV and AIDs)

Organic substance, found in all living cells, in which the hereditary information is stored and from which it can be transferred. Nucleic acid molecules are long chains that generally occur in combination with proteins. The two chief types are DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid), found mainly in cell nuclei, and RNA (ribonucleic acid), found mostly in cytoplasm.

Nucleic Acid (Hepatitis C)

Chemical compounds at the utmost biologic importance , contained in all living organisms in the form of DNA and RNA; they consist mainly of sugar moiety, nitrogenous bases, and phosphoric acids.

Nucleic Acid (Microbiology)

A polymer of nucleotides, see also DNA and RNA.

Nucleic Acid (Nutrition)

Any of a class of chemical compounds found in all viruses and plant and animal cells. Ribonucleic acid (RNA) and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) contain the genetic instructions for every living cell, are two principal types.

Nucleic Acid (Prostate Cancer)

A chemical compound involved in making and storing energy and carrying hereditary characteristics, such as DNA

Nucleic Acid (Science)

Large, complex molecules (DNA and RNA) that control heredity and cell activities
