O-ring (Adhesives and Sealants)

A circular piece of rubber which fits around the piston to help maintain the seal between the piston and cartridge wall.

O-ring (Beer Brewing)

A circular gasket, usually made of rubber. O-rings come in different shapes and sizes. O-rings will eventually deteriorate, and must be replaced occasionally.

O-ring (Body Modification)

A rubber ring used on retainers and beadless jewelry such as plugs or fleshtunnels, to hold the jewelry in place by surrounding it (with one on each side of the jewelry) so that it cannot fall out.

O-ring (Body Piercing)

A thin, rubber ring that fits snugly on the end of a plug to keep it in place in your piercing.

O-ring (Paintball)

Rubber gaskets use in your gun.
