Offsides (Ice Hockey) 
An offsides is called when a player precedes the puck into the offensive zone as indicated by the blue line. When an offside occurs the referee stops play and the face off occurs outside the offensive zone. Offsides is not called in in-line hockey as there are no blue lines.
