Used to quote a price in 64ths. Dealers in government bonds normally give price quotes in 32nds. To quote a bid or offer in 64ths, they use pluses; a dealer who bids 4+ is bidding the handle plus 4/32 + 1/64, which equals the handle plus 9/64.

1) A sign used to indicate that a transaction for a particular security was at a higher price than the previous transaction. 2) A fractional variation used to indicate a Treasury note or bond that is being quoted in 64ths. For instance, 93.16+ means 93 and 33/64th of par. The numerator is 2 times 16 plus 1; 64 is the denominator. 3) In newspaper stock listings, a + in the change column means that the closing price of a security is higher than the previous day's close by the amount in the column.
