Pay-per-click (Affiliate Programs)

A pay-per-click program is one in which an affiliate receives a commission for each click on a banner that takes them to a merchant’s site.


Pay-per-click (Interactive Marketing)

An advertising pricing model in which advertisers pay agencies and/or media companies based on how many users clicked on an online ad or e-mail message.


Pay-per-click (Non-Profit Marketing)

An advertising technique used on websites, especially search engines, where the advertiser is charged a small amount each time a site visitor clicks on their advertisement. See also:Cost-per-Action, Cost-per-Click
