A pre-recorded audio or video file that can be downloaded from the Internet. Podcasts differ from other downloads in that they are provided by RSS webfeed, and usually belong to a series of files, similar to episodes of a TV or radio show. Also, using special software like iTunes, listeners can subscribe to these shows and automatically receive new episodes when available.
