Psychedelic (Addiction)

Mind-manifesting group of drugs producing a mental state of great calm and intensely pleasurable perception.

Psychedelic (Hippy)

Hallucinatory experience sometimes brought on by altered state of awareness, via drugs like LSD or some other experience or art work. The word originated in correspondence between Aldous Huxley and Humphrey Osmond in the 50's. From Greek, it literally means a substance that reveals the nature of the soul.

Psychedelic (Paranormal)

Literally "revealing mind". A class of plants and drugs (e.g., peyote, psilocybin, LSD) that can produce florid ASCs.
