The right to demand return of money paid. In negotiation of a letter of credit, payment by the negotiating bank will normally be with recourse.

A right claim against the guarantors of a loan or draft or bill of exchange.

The right of the holder of a note secured by a mortgage or deed of trust to look personally to the borrower or endorser for payment, not just to the property.
