Strained Yogurt Or Greek-style Yogurt (Yogurt)

Yogurt that has been strained to remove excess moisture, resulting in a product that is very thick and creamy. It may be made from cow, sheep or goat milk. It can have up to 8% butterfat, compared to 5% for other whole milk yogurts. In addition, cream may be added for extra richness. Because yogurt made in Greece is strained, other strained yogurts are often referred to as “Greek-style.”
