Temperament (Astrology)

Ancient Greek theory of four humours developed by Hippocrates links bodily fluids with dispositions or tempers. The temperaments, Sanguine (Blood), Choleric (Yellow Bile), Melancholic (Black Bile) and Phlegmatic (Phlegm) relate to the astrological elements Air (Sanguine), Fire (Choleric), Earth (Melancholic) and Water (Phlegmatic).
