Zeotrope

Zeotrope (Ozone Protection) 
A blend consisting of several refrigerants of different volatilities that appreciably change in composition or temperature as it evaporates (boils) or condenses (liquefies) at a given pressure (compare with azeotrope). A refrigerant blend assigned a R-400 series number designation in ANSI/ASHRAE 34 is a zeotrope.
